​Congratulations to Shirley Garretson, Career Advisor, Career Education, for receiving the Ruby Award from the Soroptimist International of Hanford.  “The Ruby award honors women who work to improve the lives of women and girls through their professional and/or volunteer work.”  She was nominated by an employer, Dominique Butler-Horn of Comfort Inn, that works with Shirley's students.  There were nine award categories and 16 recipients most of whom were in high school or college.  Congratulations Shirley for your years of service to students!
