New students are accepted at orientation sessions held approximately every three weeks.  Check with the Kings ROP office to confirm the date.

The first part of each orientation will be to complete the registration process, including payment for the class.  Please call (559) 589-7026 prior to the orientation date to let us know that you will be attending the next orientation.

It is a self-paced program.  Students can progress as rapidly as they are able to.

There is a $75 materials fee that helps defray the cost of workbooks and photocopied materials.

Students need to provide their own notebook paper, pencils and flash drives.  Students work in "modules" using workbooks and photocopied packets.  Textbooks are available but remain in the classroom.  Students may take home the workbooks and photocopied materials.

Class is held on the Hanford Adult School campus and follows the Hanford Joint Union High School District schedule.  The school day usually begins at 8:00 a.m. and extends to approximately 3:15 p.m.  We make every effort to individualize our students' schedules to meet their respective needs.

The Business Technology Program is open entry/open exit and is self-paced.  The length of time a student needs to devote to successfully completing the program is completely individual.

Kings ROP is an educational institution and, as such, does not do job placement.  However, the advanced level of the program makes on-the-job training available to successful students.  These are non-paid placements with local businesses which provide current training and work experience in specialized fields that can be included on the student's resume.
